SO, unfortunately, we cannot get out the Crumpled paper as soon as planned. Our goal was to get it out by the week before midterms/finals. But, it is still our first year, and the Crumpled paper will be out as soon as possible. It will most probably be out in the week right after Winter break! We want to get the Crumpled Paper printed in color but if not, we will have an online version in color. So either way, it will work out. Good luck with Finals, and look forward to the first edition of The Crumpled Paper!
The submissions for our first edition were due last Friday, November 18. Of course, we are still accepting submissions, but any new ones will be pushed to the second edition of the Crumpled Paper. We have had very good submissions. We cannot guarantee that your submission will be accepted, due to limited resources (paper, ink, etc.) But, we are able to guarantee an AWESOME issue of The Crumpled Paper.
So the club's just getting out there. We are starting to receive a lot more submissions but not enough So we have decided to extend the deadline to November 18! You guys have a whole extra week to send in your submissions. We are getting a lot of poems. That's great but we want some submissions in each category. So get to it!
I know some people are still wondering if they can join. My best answer would be: ASK THE TEACHERS! They are: Mr. Drayton (124), Mr. Bernhart (304), & Mr. Sebek (211). They probaby wouldn't mind. You can still join, but likely not as any kind of editor.
